~ Book Description  ~

The feisty and determined faerie Princess Alannah is many things, but she never thought she would be the key to her people’s destruction.

Kidnapped for a power she does not yet possess, Alannah finds herself in the clutches of the most malevolent sorcerer of her time. Maligo. Alannah escapes her prison with help from the handsome and stalwart warrior faerie, Brennus.

Now she must cross mountains and forests fraught with rogue faeries, vicious Fae-hating trolls, dangerous shape-shifters, and more to reach the only ones that can help her control her incoming powers. The Elder Faeries.

With Brennus by her side, Alannah is determined to reach the Elder Faeries and save her people. Maligo is just as determined she never makes it that far.

~ My Review ~

The Market of the Princess will take you on a magical journey, you will be sucked into a world full of the Adventure and Romance.

Alannah is the fairy Princess from the Kingdom of Meira, all she wants is for her powers to come in and to have some time to herself. While sneaking away to have a moment alone she runs into a handsome stranger who stood ready to defend her, when he thinks she is being chaced. They talk for a little and on her way back she gets attack just as she finds her guards Xavier and Geer but Xavier winds up saving here before Saros can fly off with her. Alannah's father King Cavalon is just trying to Keep his daughters safe from the wretched Maligo who was stripped of his powers but has become a master of potions and spells. When Alannah is taken, Prince Kaleb, Tristan, and Princess Evyette set out to find Alannah and bring her back safely. Tristan gave his words to King Cavalon that no harm will come to Princess Evyette. On the journey to save Alannah they will face many dangers. Will they make it without getting themselves killed? The two sisters will find out just how different the world is outside their Kingdom and will learn things along the way. When taken captive Alannah saves a warrior fairy named Brennus will they be able to escape? Will she get her powers and find out what the strange marking on her back is? Alannah will have to choose between her feelings for Prince Kaleb and her feeling for the Warrior fairy Brennus. Will Princess Evyette find out who she really is and were she's from? There is still much more to their journey If you want to know what else awaits them you should go pick up a copy of Mark of the Princess.

All the characters are amazing but I love Princess Alannah, Princess Evyette, Prince Kaleb, Tristan, and Brennus, I just can't choose between then. I can't wait to read the next book. I would definitely recommend this book.
