~ Blurb ~

In the Community, there is no more pain or war. Implanted computer chips have wiped humanity clean of destructive emotions, and thoughts are replaced by a feed from the Link network.
When Zoe starts to malfunction (or “glitch”), she suddenly begins having her own thoughts, feelings, and identity. Any anomalies must be immediately reported and repaired, but Zoe has a secret so dark it will mean certain deactivation if she is caught: her glitches have given her uncontrollable telekinetic powers.
As Zoe struggles to control her abilities and stay hidden, she meets other glitchers including Max, who can disguise his appearance, and Adrien, who has visions of the future. Both boys introduce Zoe to feelings that are entirely new. Together, this growing band of glitchers must find a way to free themselves from the controlling hands of the Community before they’re caught and deactivated, or worse.
In this action-packed debut, Glitch begins an exciting new young adult trilogy.

~ My Review ~

Glitch is a great read! I felt like I was on a journey with Zoel as she starts to experience thing for the first time while glitching, with all the confusing emotions, her uncontrollable telekinetic power Zoel must hide it all and act emotionless like she is still connected to the link for fear of being deactivated. Adrien is boy with bright blue-green eyes that she starts seeing around all the time, she starts to think he mite me a monitor watching her for anomalies but when he saves her life she doesn't know what to think. When Adrien try's to take Zoel top side she starts to freak out but he gets her to calm down and they both make their way back to his mom's place but once their almost here something happens to Zoel and for her to survive she must go to back to the community for now but when she goes back she will not remember anything not even the feelings she is starting to have for Adrien, Adrien tells her that they will find one another again that he just knows it. Zoel finds herself back at the community with no memories of what happened but when she finds out Maximin is glitching like her they start to grow close together. Will she remember the feelings she started to have for Adrien? Will she and all the others like her ever be free from the community? Is the community their only enemy or is there another stronger one lurking in the shadows? I thought it was an all around great read and I would defiantly recommend Glitch.

Zoel

She is overwhelmed with everything that is happening and not quite sure what to do but near the end she finds a purpose, she want to find away to free the others like her from the community.

Adrien

He is the kind of person who thinks that if he can help someone, that it would be wrong not to. Adrien got tired of living on the run and decided to join the resistance. He thinks that with a gift like his, he has a responsibility to use it well.

  1. Great review. :)

Adrien sounds like my kind of guy, nice and helpful, unlike some guys in YA. ;)
